World Class Hunting…
On a Working Man’s Budget
Eyetime Promotions is happy to announce Guided Pheasant Hunting
in Northeastern South Dakota from October 15th to January 1st.
Late season hunts are welcomed…I personally find them more enjoyable-crops are all harvested, resulting in large numbers of tightly grouped birds. Nearly unimaginable and truly amazing to see just how many will explode from small parcels of cover.

What you can expect:
Personal attention from friendly guides while hunting on over 20,000 Acres of Privately Owned Land in North Central SD. Hunting is conducted at 2 seperate locations, one near the town of Roscoe and the other near Mellette. It is impossible to “overhunt” properties this large, and your success is all but guaranteed. Rest assured, these are working Grain Farms and NOT a so called “Pheasant Preserve.” You will witness nothing but 100% Wild Birds and be taking part in a fair chase hunt. If you are looking to simply kill released and obviously tame “Colorful Chickens”…I would recommend you look elsewhere.
There will never be more than one group hunting at any time, so you won’t be subjected to a circus like atmosphere or distractions…you will experience a traditional South Dakota hunt at it‘s finest-without all the fanfare.
Each day will be spent hunting over well trained and seasoned dogs (both pointing and flushing) and you are welcome to bring your own as well. Providing: you are confident as to their obedience and that they will not cause problems. Should you have a young dog or an un-experienced one you would like to work with, we can arrange for a private session after the main hunt is completed. I will be more than happy to assist you with this. We can walk some unhunted ground and let them get some valuable experience on Wild Birds, without the pressure and confusion of a large amount of hunters.
A home made field lunch complete with beverages will be provided along with help cleaning and packaging of your birds. You will be expected to have proper shells, clothing, dog supplies, etc, when you arrive. Call ahead if you have questions as to what to bring. It’s worth your while to stop at Sodak Sport and Bait in Aberdeen and look over the Region’s largest supply of guns and hunting supplies. Should you need additional or specialized shells or have a gun malfunction, I will have these on hand so you can continue the hunt without delay. If needed, gunsmithing services can be provided. If you would like photos of the hunt: Professional grade digital pictures can be emailed to you.
Lodging: Lodging and or camping arrangements can be made yourself, or I can assist you with finding appropriate accomodations. It is best to book as soon as possible to guarantee reservations.
New for 2011:I will have 2 options available for Lodging with both being quite nice and in rural surroundings, yet close enough to town to obtain anything you could need or desire.
One is a large and completely remodeled Farm House that can easily accomodate larger groups. The other is a “Man Cave” type of arrangement with amenities such as Private Bar, Hot Tub, Sauna, etc. Both options have good facilities for your dogs as well.
Rates: $50 per head per night, with larger groups getting negotiable pricing.
Hunting Prices:
Adults-$175 per day
Discounts: $25 per day for Groups of 10 or more, Youth 16 and under and Women
Deposits: 50% Due at time of booking,

In Addition:
If you are interested in the spectacular fall walleye fishing that South Dakota has to offer-I can arrange that as well. Late season can even include some phenomenal first ice opportunities. Please refer back to the main portion of the site to see what I have to offer.
If this sounds like the kind of hunting experience you are looking for, we welcome you to join us for what looks to be best season the state has ever seen.
